The second largest city in Spain, Barcelona has a history that dates back long, long ago—2000 years ago, in fact, with a spellbinding vibe of light, passion, culture and character.

Here, somehow, the heavenly Mediterranean sunlight is seemingly more delicious when set against beguiling architecture, narrow alleyways, expansive waters, and in the gleam of each and every Barcelonian's eye.

Indeed, this seaside city calls visitors from near and far to walk alongside the works of great visionaries, of natural wonders, breathtaking points, and countless sights; to live as locals do, and to breath in the beautiful story of such an indescribably fascinating city . . .

. . . if you've been reading for a while, you'll know about a certain fondness for glimpses of the vacation shots of others {paris: one two three, bella italia}, and while this afternoon may have been a flurry of speeding along busy highways, still unpacked carryalls and a million unanswered e-mails, everything seemed to fall away at the sight of perfectly ornate domes, venetian mirrors and chandeliers, soft and pretty pastels and the palest pink roses in marvelous madrid . . .

. . . had originally been working on two other lovely things for late this morning, but they had been taking such an astonishingly long time to complete, that had become rather sidetracked by this hopelessly lovely space in madrid, and all of the perfect little details that lend it such a wonderful warmth and elegance: the luxuriously bright entryway and paneled wood doors with gold hardware, the extravagantly-sized mirrors and art gallery style displays, and most of all, the beautifully handwritten and framed french phrases . . .

. . . quite taken with this bright and sun-drenched home in madrid, with its gallery white walls and alcove bookcases, sweeping windows and juliet balconies, perfectly worn wood floors and soft accents of romantic tea rose . . .

Andres Sarda - Fall 2009 Lingerie

Just when we thought we've seen our favorite Fall 2009 lingerie campaigns, we discovered these images by Andres Sarda. Andres Sarda is a Spanish luxury lingerie brand that typically puts on a gorgeous annual runway show. This year they put together a short film (click here to view) that features their Fall collection and it's quite provocative and beautiful. Granted, not much of a plot, but it wonderfully showcases their designs on a sexy model. The images in this post appear to be stills from the film. We love how these photos perfectly capture the spirit and glamour of the brand.
We still have a few older season items from Andres Sarda in the SALE section of our website.
