{style inspiration | in my closet : jill milan silk clutch}
. . . and it has been a scandalously long time since the last in my closet feature, [too little time & too many projects], but lately, a few fun additions to the closet, especially spring things, and this silk clutch being one; and while have been known to dash about during the workday with much larger handbags -- shoulder, totes and carryalls, paired with a classic trench and pearl-trimmed gloves, it has been perfect for late lunches that drift into stops by gallery openings and after work cocktails, and even, dinner reservations . . .
. . . with the exception of a pretty feather one for evening dates, this one has been a current favourite [although also crazy about the art deco, in gold], and a first introduction jill milan, who make everything in florence, using only italian faux leathers, linens, and cottons that are environmentally friendly and pvc-free; the hardware was handmade by an artisan who worked for one of italy's premier jewelers, adding such elegance and romance . . .
{p.s.} for those who have just arrived or may have missed : this week's give-away

Travel Photography by Martin Sundberg
Martin Sundberg specializes in making photographs of people living an active life, pursuing their passions, by land and by sea. His approach is down-to-earth, and he loves the challenge of capturing the extraordinary in the ordinary, the intimate emotions of an experience.
While his Scandinavian roots lie in Minnesota, Martin’s photography business and his interest in the ocean brought him to the San Francisco Bay many years ago. Here, a sophisticated urban environment collides with vast, awe-inspiring landscapes and this juxtaposition allows for endless opportunities to collaborate in producing memorable images right in his own backyard.
