There's no question that Maison Close is one of the most rapid-selling brands at Faire Frou Frou, so we are so excited to now carry the Spring 2011 collection!  The latest groups to hit stores are Villa Cancan, Pavillon Bellevue and Villa Divine.  For those of you who didn't get a chance to buy their Winter collection, they are continuing to carry those groups as well.  In any event, the most surprising addition to Spring includes the new ivory modal pieces (Pavillon Bellevue).  Up until now the brand has pretty much stuck to all-black designs (with a smattering of purple in there), so the ivory items, in modal no less, are a welcome change.  And can we talk about how cool that ivory open-back boyshort is?!
Another favorite of ours is the mesh/lace Villa Divine Catsuit.  To be honest, we weren't a huge fan of the catsuit until we saw this piece.  Seriously, it's so amazing it converted us, and we bet we'll make a few catsuit lovers out of you too!  If the catsuit is not quite your thing, the Villa Divine Lace Leggings are a safe runner-up.  The third new group is called Villa Cancan, which is also black mesh but with a diamond grid pattern.  Again, some sexy sleekness going on there that we're enjoying.  Our online store features a few looks from this group that are not featured in this post, so now you need to visit our site.

Maison Close is one of the best-selling lingerie brands at Faire Frou Frou; seriously, not a day goes by when someone doesn't purchase it.  The new Fall/Winter collection arrived in our shop a few weeks ago, and we finally have most of the Villa Bel-Ami pieces on our site in the new 'rose' color.  Up until now it seems that black was the only color option for Maison Close, so we were delighted to see 'rose' added to the mix.  This collection is quite enticing perhaps because it highlights the natural curves of the body while exposing a tasteful amount of skin with its semi-sheer mesh fabric.  The Bel-Ami pieces are silky soft yet structured with its architectural contrast seams.  Plus the fit is pretty exceptional and pleasantly comfortable.  From A-cups to D-cups, the Corset Bra is a hit on most women who try it, and the matching High Waist Girdle Thong is one of those pieces that is pretty much the high-waist panty to own.
Next week we will be featuring the Maison Close Bel-Ami new arrivals in black (on their way to us now from France!).  Also, as a bit of insider information, the Bel-Ami collection is also going to be available in Gray this month.

Being in the lingerie industry can be so much fun! Take for instance this mini burlesque performance by Miss Scarlett Diamond at the Maison Close booth at the Paris Lingerie Salon (the big semi-annual lingerie tradeshow). These images are actually from the January 2010 show, and we first saw them at the time on Knickers.
We love when a brand pulls out all of the stops with presenting its collection. Maison Close is a new brand at Faire Frou Frou that has become wildly popular in just a short time. Not only did they choose an amazing burlesque performer to debut their brand, but Miss Scarlett Diamond is also wearing feather accessories just like those found on the Burlesque section of our online store! Essentially two brands that are near and dear to our hearts were showcased in a very memorable fashion.
We wonder if Maison Close will put on another show this year? We can't imagine being able to top this performance!
