The Damaris S/S 2012 collection definitely captures the biggest fashion trend of the season: Neon!  As is customary for Damaris, we see designs that are playful, daring and vibrant.  Delicate lace is paired with contrast color panels, and of course we see quite a few panties that show off the derriere.  All of the bras feature a deep-v front plunge (which was such a hit last season it was brought back again!) with underwire shaping and support.  Essentially, every item from the Spring season is gorgeous from front to back.  There's no denying that you will make a statement when wearing any of these pieces!

We're certainly not in a blue mood, but rather we are feeling inspired by the color blue today!  It was actually the Aitken Jolly photograph at the top of this post that inspired us; and let's just pause to say how adorable the ruffle, puff-sleeve top is layered over that darling lace bra.  Really, it's a lingerie-as-outerwear look that is most practical for 'real life'.  The lace of the model's bra reminded us a bit of the Damaris 'Frisson' collection, which we color-adjusted a sample of lace to match the theme of our post. 
We want to note that the Dita von Teese image is a (blurry) frame we captured from her very impressive video advertisement with Perrier.  If you haven't seen The Perrier Mansion website, you need to go there immediately! 

We have finally posted all of the new arrivals from Mimi Holliday on our website! If you don't know about this brand, it's time you learn...Mimi Holliday is the spin-off diffusion line of the luxury lingerie label Damaris. Basically it's designed by the same talent behind Damaris but at a fraction of the price. Bras and panties range in price from $50-$89, and now the brand offers new styles such as garter belts and teddys/rompers! It's such a happy moment for us, finally being able to share the new Damaris Fall 2009 images with you! As always, we are presented with some gorgeous designs and we feel this is an especially strong collection. Probably our favorite of all of the items is the Frisson group. The Frisson pieces are those with a lily pattern on a fine tulle material; so striking and classic.
We noticed that most of the bras (except for the Ophelia Soft Cup Bra) offer great support and can be worn for more than just a special occasion. Even some of the matching bottoms are more practical. A new selection for Fall includes nightgowns and robes; something that was not offered in the past. We love having so many options!

We have noticed that quite a few of the panties in our boutique make quite a presentation from the back - don't you agree? From bows and ruffles to fun embroidery, there are such adorable options right now. Granted, most of these are 'special occasion' pieces - so you're not supposed to wonder if these will work under a pair of jeans. These are strictly for flaunting!

We recently received the new Spring collection from Damaris, and it's getting quite a reaction! The Incandescence group, the pieces made from white polka dot lace with flourescent pink accents, has been in our store window for about a week and has drawn in many passers-by.
The 2 groups that are currently available are 'Incandescence' and 'Tullett'. The Tullett group is ivory silk with grosgrain detailing, and silk chiffon flower accents. We think the pictures of this group don't do it justice...in person the details are just lovely.
Check out the pictures and see for yourself why Incandescence has caused a stir...it's a statement group that celebrates your inner girly girl! Actually, that can be said for all of Damaris's designs.
