Ron Schmidt specializes in creating conceptual images that tell a story. Complete with character and scene, his style is described as cinematic and clever with a timeless quality. Ron began snapping pictures at age 7 with an old Yashica given to him by his uncle and formally started his career as an assistant in NYC after venturing west to complete college in California. Ron branched off in 2000 to start his own studio and currently spends the majority of his time capturing man’s best friend for his successful licensing brand Loose Leashes.
Ron enjoys the entire creative process from concept to post-production and his shoots are always collaborative and fun. Ron’s laid-back presence places clients, both those with and without fur, at ease - there are usually a lot of laughs and of course, treats!
