. . . as am currently writing to you from a rooftop terrace drenched in golden light, it is, admittedly, in the summertime, a little more difficult to get things done, especially while traipsing around in elegant silk blouses and linen blazers, breezy dresses and perfect pencil skirts . . . there is more time for terraces and stops for gelato, sparkling drinks in strappy sandals, and most of all, taking in the soft and hazy moments of summer in the city . . .

. . . and long before it has even begun and despite the romance of softly falling snow, sometimes winter is best weathered from a distance, and few things more romantic than a mid-winter escape to a balmy and breezy and perhaps exotic location -- and whether madrid, the greek isles, or fiji, a little time away for dreaming of the return of warmer days always brightens long winter months . . . and so, striped blouses with bows and pleated chelsey pants, elegant linen blazers and tailored city shorts, and most of all, sexy heels and billowy dresses for just the occasion . . .
