. . . perhaps one of the most exciting things about the arrival of spring, besides all the beautiful & wildly intoxicating sunlight, is the chance for bare toes once again, and pretty platform sandals with sky-high heels and in gold and glitter and perfect pastels . . .

. . . always fun to see collaborations, whether or chloë sevigny x opening ceremony or lanvin x h&m, and one that is especially fun is the recent six london & farfetch collaboration with six design bloggers, one of whom was alix from the cherry blossom girl, whose midnight blue satin sky-high mary janes, complete with dainty straps and crystal clasps, perfectly wrapped in elegant bows were a definite favourite . . .

. . . and while we're on the topic of pretty platforms, have been taken with the now iconic charlotte olympia court shoe with its ultra elegant lines and stunningly chic gold metallic platform for quite some time now, and while it also comes in black, red, and natural raffia {also lovely!}, there is something so utterly romantic about the rose suede that is impossible to resist . . .

. . . absolutely obsessed with these chloé pumps from the new spring collection -- a clear heel and delicate ankle strap, bits of black and just a hint of champagne and it's off in the moonlight . . .

. . . thursday again and a late lunch with my sister, and while there's a fondness for sun-dappled terraces and luxurious suede shoes, the gently falling rain means there will be neither and on the way out the door, leaving you with these beautifully elegant pink suede platform pumps adorned with perfectly ladylike bows and embellished with glittering little stones, perfect for thursday afternoon lunches, when the rain has subsided and the late-summer sun shines again . . .

. . . the most exquisite shade, {somewhere between champagne and shimmery blush}, and elegantly adorned with perfectly ruffled pleats, have fallen head over heels for these stunningly beautiful bruno frisoni sandals and have already planned entire august afternoons around them: a picnic at le jardin du luxembourg, monet and renoir at le musée d'orsay and, of course, a stroll under the stars, hand in hand, when night falls . . .

. . . has been a while since the last beautiful installment of {shoes, shoes, shoes}, and couldn't dream of a better pair to begin again with than these intricately lovely and summer-perfect sergio rossi cut out sandals, so delicate and lacy, can imagine them with a summer dress from the recent stella mccartney resort collection for a leisurely afternoon at the gallery . . .

. . . hello! had posted these bronzy & bedecked with bows valentino peeptoes on the side project this morning, but has been one of those busy, busy days {and so exceptionally sleepy for some reason} and they're so daintily pretty and summer perfect, had to share them here as well -- can imagine them with a pair of tailored city shorts, a high ponytail and a silk blouse . . .

. . . if had thought ahead, perhaps these stunning italian high-heeled sandals might have arrived in time for tonight's dinner reservations, as have fallen completely in love with every last perfect detail on these exquisite shoes -- the elegant shade of champagne and delicate ankle strap, the wonderfully romantic linen rose and luxuriously rich wood platform, and most of all, the captivatingly beautiful lucite heel . . .

. . . the last pair of shoes featured created quite a stir, and while they may not be origami-inspired louboutins, these equestrian-inspired lanvin beige double platform mary janes with white toe-caps and ankle straps are pure summer sexiness . . .

. . . tall leather boots less and less in these past bright and sun-lit days, happily replacing them with peep-toe pumps and sky-high sandals and what can only be described as stunningly beautiful works of art, such as these origami-inspired palest pink louboutins . . .

. . . there is something about velvet that is so luxuriously alluring, and especially so, on a stunningly elegant and tufted sofa in shades of shimmer and silvery grey. . .
