After a post college stint as a writer and photographer for a local newspaper in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Justin Fantl received his MFA in Photography from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. Currently splitting his time between the west and the east coast, Justin strives to create images that are metaphoric and lasting whether the images are of a sterile hallway, a snowy landscape, a scuba diver, or a dinosaur egg. Justin won 1st place in the still life category for the 2010 APA Awards. In addition, his work has been featured in Communication Arts and Photo District News, and he is a regular contributor to Gallery Stock. Justin’s past clients include Dwell Magazine, Fortune, Lucky, The Globe and Mail, New York Times T Magazine, Oprah Magazine, Popular Mechanics, San Francisco Magazine, Sceintific American, Technology Review, Venables, Bell & Partners, Wall Street Journal and Wieden & Kennedy.
