. . . so many lovely things to tell you today, but as they say, the best laid plans . . . home again after being away for the past few days and couldn't possibly describe the feeling of first stepping into the familiar entryway more beautifully than these nostalgia-laden photographs by max-kim bee -- a feeling of being perfectly enveloped in a softly ethereal and moody light filled with daydreams and the fluttering leaves of possibilities . . .

{p.s.} have fallen impossibly behind on e-mails & comments once again -- apologies & hopefully within the next few days xo

{two lovely things: eames molded plywood chairs}

{two lovely things:} around the dining table or beneath a gallery wall, there is just something about the perfectly graceful lines of eames chairs -- still -- that adds a beautiful elegance to any room and no matter how many times you may come across them, they always remain classic and utterly timeless . . .

{p.s.} and while you may have seen these images before, they are here as a glimpse of very, very exciting things to come xo

{colour inspiration: glimpses of pink}

. . . one of those weeks with a half a million unfinished projects, back-to-back appointments and invitations every evening -- it's beginning to feel like the holidays {which i adore} . . . slowing things down a little with perfectly pale and pretty glimpses of pink . . .

{p.s.} thanks for the great blog recommendations so far!

. . . the leaves have already begun to fall and am increasingly drawn to warm and woodsy places, especially when paired with crisp whites, glittering chandeliers and dramatically dark accents . . .

{soft greys + dreaming of the sea}

happy monday! still lingering thoughts of the weekend . . . and soft, beachy greys and stripes, light-diffused in swaths of romantic netting and bright linens for afternoons spent dreaming of the sea . . .

{hope you had a lovely weekend}
