. . . while guests from paris are currently on an adventurous little road trip for the next few days, a little time to get caught up on a few things, including all the beautiful things have not had a moment to share, until now, with all the traipsing around and waterfalls . . .

. . . whether a perfect mix of white mattes and black frames intermingled with ever-elegant gold for a stunning display, or a glittering pavé bow ensconced between whispers of champagne-coloured silk, the artful arrangement of beautiful things never fail to inspire . . .

. . . so many lovely things to tell you today, but as they say, the best laid plans . . . home again after being away for the past few days and couldn't possibly describe the feeling of first stepping into the familiar entryway more beautifully than these nostalgia-laden photographs by max-kim bee -- a feeling of being perfectly enveloped in a softly ethereal and moody light filled with daydreams and the fluttering leaves of possibilities . . .

. . . isn't this the most loveliest way to display pretty gold necklaces and delicate silver earrings?

. . . have bits & pieces laying about on nearly every surface around the house -- a pair of glamorous & very sparkly earrings for cocktail parties on the bureau, a strand of pearls here and a pair of diamond studs there -- and would be so wonderful to keep things a little more organized, {especially on those mad-dash mornings}, while also turning favourite pieces from those we love into perfectly beautiful works of art . . .

. . . always adore the details best -- a perfume collection or the way it is displayed, luxurious bouquets artfully arranged, the books in cases and the photographs and artwork in frames -- these and other personal and creative flourishes tell the most about a place, and few have more glamour than hervé pierre, whose new york apartment is positively overflowing with beautiful details, such as a curtain tieback made from a balmain glove {top}, and a wonderfully intricate and incredibly handmade frame created of paper and cardboard that took two years to complete . . .
