. . . at the moment, it's travel cases & carry-ons, and vintage hand-beaded make-up cases, but upon arriving home in a few days, have resolved to re-organise the shelves and vanities, with their perfume bottles scattered prettily about, and the situation is, perhaps, even more dire for the lipsticks & glosses, which are in every handbag, on every surface, and at once, lost; the solution, perhaps: this clever drawer organiser, which not only looks lovely, but keeps everything in its place . . .

{storage inspiration: wooden drawer dividers}
. . . barely the first day of summer, and must confess have already amassed quite an impressive collection of summery beauty products -- shimmery eyeshadows and sunkissed bronzers, luxurious lip glosses with flecks of gold and too many shades of lipstick, making mornings a bit of a flurry and vanities and drawers overflowing, and so, immediately fell for these perfect and perfectly practical wooden drawer dividers that keep carerra counter tops clear and drawers tidy and beautifully organized . . .

{spring things: closet organization}
. . . must confess, have been avoiding re-organising the closets for spring & summertime, for it is rather a monumental, somewhat overwhelming task, and shoes seem to be overtaking the place, making mornings quite a flurry, and so, a little inspiration before it begins . . .

{spring things: organization}
. . . there is a vintage sterling silver serviette holder on my desk {below}, that is used for favourite photographs, letters, invitations, and gold foil-lined envelopes; however with a change in season and a brand new month, aside from the overwhelming desire to throw open every french door and window, there are also thoughts of redoing, perhaps repainting, but most of all, reorganizing, and at this moment {besides the closets} it is the office, currently overflowing with letters, cards, bills, receipts and recent boarding passes . . . and the serviette holder, however lovely, can only hold so much, so perhaps a silver vintage toast rack {beautiful and practical} may be just the thing . . .

. . . and if you ever find yourself roaming about the antique markerts early one saturday morning, in paris, or otherwise, a latte in hand a boyfriend in tow, you'll most likely find a wonderful array. . . and of course, for those quiet moments on weekday mornings, there is always a vast assortment online, from etsy, {here}, and ebay, {here} . . .

. . . a certain fondness for shoes means always searching for creative places to keep an ever-growing collection and this rustically elegant and perfectly organized linen and shelf arrangement would make every morning feel like a visit to the shops . . .
{p.s.} a perfect afternoon
