. . . and after unexpectedly falling for a decidedly masculine black leather sofa a few weeks ago, {juxtaposed, to be certain, against crisp whites and a perfectly ornate mirror}, have been thinking about notions of masculinity and femininity recently, how they interrelate, and most of all, how they can intermingle to create something altogether new and utterly beautiful . . .



















{p.s.} also, first there were the ipad cases, then the charmingly chic luggage tags, and now, also from from etsy, this {fifth from top} impossibly lovely hand-stitched doctor's bag/carry on . . .

. . . and after another stunning summer weekend: a new week, and this one is filled with the anticipation of things to come -- currently in talks & the planning stages for two very exciting new projects, a few upcoming features and interviews, a possible last-minute trip, and perhaps even a summer cabin stay, and the feeling of butterflies and fluttery anticipation that often comes when everything is falling beautifully in to place . . .

. . . admittedly, it has seen more play than work, for in barely three weeks' time, already, over six hundred novels, two rather tense, late-night games of scrabble, many favourite apps {especially flipboard}, a few masterpieces {created with a stylus and drawing apps}, and issues of martha stewart living . . . all that's left is to get back to work, but first, the perfect carrying case . . .

. . . the weather has been so astonishingly lovely, it is nearly impossibly not to be swept away by the blossom-scented breezes and glittering rays of sunlight . . . and this weekend was out-of-town guests and charming dinner conversations, luxuriously late mornings and sunday brunch {smoked salmon & scrambled eggs with chives, rosti, creamed horseradish & caviar} and time to fall in love all over again with every last moment along the way . . .
